Louella is an actor, musician and model hailing from North Devon where she grew up near the famous Devon coastline, spending her free time playing guitar, riding horses and pretending to be Hannah Montana. 

 

After completing a BTEC in performing arts where she fulfilled her 17 year old dreams of playing lead roles in Fame! The Musical and 1920’s classic Anything Goes, Louella went on to complete a BA Hons degree in Acting at Falmouth Arts University’s Academy of Music and Theatre Arts (AMATA). This experience gained her lifelong friendships, high quality actor training from elite international professors, and an obsession with paddle boarding and carpeted nightclubs (only kidding about the latter). Most importantly perhaps, she collaborated on various film projects with the film school and was able to graduate with the beginnings of a professional showreel and a desire to crack the film and television industry. 

 

Louella continued developing her practice with projects such as an experimental thriller short film, and her final year undergrad production of Under Milk Wood in the role of the ethereal and omniscient First Voice. Louella has a wealth of experience in live performance, improvisation and screen acting, making her a confident and versatile performer. For three years she was an actor at the north of England’s largest and most popular October scare fest, Hallowscream, leading on to more immersive theatre experience for York’s Magical Sleigh Rides, last year she was Lara Croft in Tomb Raider: The Live Experience. Louella is currently appearing as zany time-travelling trickster maze master Zelda Peredur at The Crystal Maze Live Experience London until June 2024. Other notable roles include Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Red Riding Hood for Castle Howard’s 2022 Into The Woods christmas event. You can catch Louella in upcoming British slasher comedy How To Kill Monsters where she plays troublemaking party girl Crystal, currently doing the rounds in international horror film festivals and picking up numerous awards, including Best Feature.
